SOURCING SPECIALIST

Our Equipment, Trading & Distribution (ETD) Department is looking for a Sourcing Specialist, for its Operations, who will have the following responsibilities:

• Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives;
• Handle requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes;
• Handle Purchase Order preparation and raise, as well as follow-up in terms of quality and delivery times;
• Handle all task inherent to Purchase Orders in liaison with other departments;
• Participation to the supplier data base management with current and potential suppliers;
• Participation to Supplier Risk Management, Supplier Setup and Contract Management;
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers;
• Ensure that a professional consistent approach is taken in relation to all external relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

• At least High School or Technician Degree in the fields of Supply Chain or Management;
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement within the Solar Energy Sector;
• Experience of working closely with suppliers and experience in international operations;
• Solar Energy sector Knowledge;
• Fluent in English (other languages a plus).
