We search for QA/QC Engineers for being in charge of Quality Control and Assurance in Power plant newbuilding installations abroad. The projects are situated all over the globe.
Main tasks:
- Examine project quality requirements.
- Review qualifications
- Supervise document system
- Supervise production/work and qualification tests
- Follow up site quality plans, ITP's and checklists
- Supervise installation work at site as per applicable standards
- Ensure proper handling of nonconformities and coordinate the handling of nonconforming products
- Participate in receiving inspections (when applicable)
- Participate in Hold Point inspections
- Review Site Quality documentation
- Give continuous feedback to e.g. engineering, production, supplier management and quality assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or similar
- Work experience in QA/QC role
- Knowledge and understanding of NDT methods, (VT, PT, UT, MT, RT)
- Welding knowhow (IWE, IWS, IWI-C certification is an benefit)
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications and standards
- Ability to handle and solve problems
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of relevant directives, codes and product standards
- Product knowledge - Experience from construction supervision
- Readiness to engage for long project abroad
