Summary of Position - Qualified Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repairer - Permanent job. 

Working in a fast-paced workshop, the suitable candidate is responsible for providing a quality vehicle body repair service.

The role is primarily concerned with ensuring vehicles are repaired and painted in a timely manner to the required standard.

This position is based in the NVD Ringaskiddy, Co, Cork Workshop. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in progressing to Workshop Supervisor or Workshop Manager. NVD will provide full training and ongoing support to the successful candidate.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparing estimates in accordance with company standards.
  • Preparing vehicles for repair work
  • Stripping damaged vehicles
  • Repairing vehicles to the highest standard
  • Preparing vehicles for pre- entry into spray booth
  • Spray painting vehicles
  • Ensuring compliance with established Job Card procedures
  • Ensuring correct stock levels are maintained on a weekly basis
  • QA sign off on all jobs.
  • Communicating all potential issues in advance to Manager/Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified Panel Beater/ Spray painter with 2 years post qualification experience. 
  • PDR/Smart Repair experience essential
  • Team player as well as being able to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility required with hours as the company requires
  • Confident and competent driver with clean driving licence
