Junior System Administrator

The Role

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for the deployment and development of software infrastructure, automating, setting-up, configuration and administering the environments described below. We’re a team of hungry, hard-working blockchain entrepreneurs who are driven by the sheer scale of what we can achieve and the need to be a part of it. Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements;

• Supporting the server instances on KVM && Cloud environment;

• CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Gitlab);

• IT infrastructure and network configuration and support;

• Delivery and support of our applications;

• Effectively communicate and document all the flow of environment setup, CI\CD and etc;

• Work closely with the team in an agile environment to ensure a high-quality product.

Required Skills

• +2 years experience in system administration;

• Strong Debian and RHEL based system knowledge; 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Basic experience in agile software development (Jira, Redmine, Confluence);

• Basic Knowledge about an Application Lifecycle Development;

• Docker;

• First insights into automation with CI\CD (Jenkins, SonarQube, Gitlab && etc.);

• Understanding of Ansible playbooks;

• Experience with gateway networking configuration;

• Strong UDP knowledge;

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team;

• Practical experience with Nginx, Bash, NodeJS and MySQL, Mongo (Replication, Backup etc.).

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, physics or computer science or equivalent;

• Experience with IOT;

• Experience with Blockchain;

• BSD system knowledge; 

• Hardware handling experience (Dell rx server line);

• KVM virtualisation experience.
