Software Developer Mobile Automatioin

The Role

A Software Engineer is expected to function as a member of an AGILE scrum team in order to deliver solutions.

The successful candidate will work to design and implement product features to meet the needs of the product roadmap.

The successful candidate will analyze code quality and continually assess risk to ensure that high quality solutions are delivered

The successful candidate will ensure software conforms to operational requirements of hosting environment.

The successful candidate will learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and be able to apply these to a variety of projects as applicable

The successful candidate will write, review and take responsibility for clear, concise and comprehensive technical documentation.

The successful candidate must display a solid work ethic with a devotion to code quality.

What We Are Looking For

Experience/Degree Required:

• Minimum degree in Computer Science, Software / Computer Engineering

• 1 – 5 years of software development experience

• Responsibilities:
• Analyzing Customer Requirements
• Research, Design, Testing / Debugging, and implementation of a variety of host Software, including:

• • Graphical User Interface Screens
  • Storage / Retrieval Algorithms
  • Warehouse Control Logic
    
     

• Further developing existing programs for fixes or improvements by analyzing and identifying the areas for modification
• Creating Technical specifications and test plans
• Server and PC setup, software installation, including Virtualized Servers.
• Working closely with other Staff including:

• • Other Software Engineers
  • Customer Service Engineers
  • Project Managers
  • Hardware Engineers
  • System Designers
    
     

• Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals, researching new technologies / methodologies, and accessing new applications

Experience/Skills Required:

• Able to fluently communicate, both written and spoken, in English.
• C# Programming Experience with Upper-Level Controls and User Interface points.
• Database Experience (MS-SQL, Oracle, and others)
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Editions and Desktop Editions
• Quality-oriented and customer-focused.
