Apukka Resort is located in Lapland, north of the Arctic Circle, 15 minutes from the city of Rovaniemi and 8 minutes the Santa Claus Village.
We are specialized in unique arctic experiences and ice-log building. We offer affordable accommodation in rooms and apartments in the middle of nature, close to the city. We also have special northern lights accommodation, the Aurora Wagon. Our passion is create exceptional experiences for our guests.
The main elements are the ice and the northern lights. You can experience the Northern Lights inside ice log buildings, book an excursion to the Arctic Wilderness on, have a bath in an ice sauna, sleep in a ice log cottage or go for northern lights hunting to the five hills.
Apukka Resort is the Northern lights center of Rovaniemi. It’s an ideal place to see the aurora borealis because the city lights do not disturb your experience. Rovaniemi is known as the hometown of Santa Claus, where you can meet him every day of the year. There is lots of interesting things to do in Rovaniemi all year round.
