Engine and Powertrain Test Engineer

Job description

As an Engine Test Engineer you will be working with the powertrain systems for one of our customers within the automotive sector. You will be working with development of new engines and to fulfil requirements set from both attribute and legislation point of view. The work consists of planning and performing different calibration activities in engine rigs as well as in cars. You will be part of both development and testing as well as simulating and analysing results.



Your profile

We think that you are a result- and collaboration oriented person with experience of engine engineering or powertrain calibration, from the automotive sector. You have good technical knowledge about combustion engines and a passionate interest in technology and cars. You are a team player that have strong communication skills, are able to act independently and take initiatives and have an excellent English language level, verbally and in writing. You have an ease of understanding context, are used to seek information and are not afraid to handle contacts with internal customers and/or suppliers.



Qualifications:

 

  • M.Sc. Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or equivalent. Focus area: Combustion Engines and Powertrains

  • Experience of calibration in combustion engines, a big interest in cars

    Experienced in modelling, simulation and function development with Matlab and Simulink

  • Knowledge of INCA, ATI, CANalyzer, DEWEsoft, AVL, Horiba or any other rig related or car related tools used in calibration of combustion powertrains are considered a big plus

  • English (written and spoken)

  • Driving license
