Jacobs Belgium was founded in 1970. Jacobs has its main office in Antwerp and has 1 regional office in Ghent. The general idea of the regional office is to be able to deliver our services as close as possible to our customers. Together with our other European offices, we execute projects at a practical distance at any location within Europe and beyond.
We provide professional services for consulting, feasibility studies, concept studies, basic designs, detailed design, project management, procurement and contracting, construction management, testing, hand over, validation, start up and permitting. We serve mainly following markets: chemical-refining industry, pharmaceutical -biotech industry, food-consumer market and other related markets.
Our current resource base counts about 600 people. These highly qualified professionals are spread over different technical departments such as process, civil, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, piping, electrical, procurement, construction management, project management and non-technical supporting departments, working in a matrix structure. All our resources work mainly from one of our offices or work on location.
