Senior Engineer Sales & Tendering

The core of Aker Solutions' Subsea division is located at Tranby Technology & Manufacturing Centre (TTMC) in Lier, where the Trees Group is a leading manufacturer of Subsea Trees and associated equipment for the global oil and gas industry with sites throughout the world. We engineer, develop, qualify, produce and deliver the next generation of subsea technology. We are currently expanding and we need new talents who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious plans within the subsea market.

We are looking for Senior Engineer Sales and Tendering Responsibilities & Tasks:• Work as technical lead in tenders
Essential Functions
• Work as technical lead in tenders and be an active team player in the Trees Sales & Tendering Department
• Manage the development process from concept to defined product layout of Trees and associated tools for tendering purposes
• Define scope of supply in the tender phase
• Work integrated with Tender Manager, Design engineers and Commercial functions during tenders
• Ensure fulfilment of Client technical requirements and develop technical documents for tenders
• Contribute to presentations of technical decision parameters and technical solutions to Tender Team and Subsea Management
• Identify Interfaces to other parts of the Subsea system
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the Sales & Tendering team’s working processes, tools and templates
• Participate in meetings with Clients


Responsibilities
• Be up-to-date of product developments and offer technical solutions aligned with guidance from the Trees Product group strategy
• Identify and align with the interfaces to other parts of the subsea system
• Set up Scope of Supply, Bill of Materials and P&ID in the tender phase
• Responsibility for the project schedule to be offered
• Hold technical presentations to trees and Subsea Management team
• Write tender technical write-ups and include all necessary technical qualifications and clarifications Qualifications / Personal Attributes:• BSc/MSc degree with technical focus
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Solution-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and “Can Do” attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Self-driven and able to work independently
• Commitment in meeting deadlines
• Structured mindset with good presentation skills
• 2-3 year experience working with Subsea Trees or Work over systems
