Hotel located in the Sassi of Matera UNESCO SITE in Basilicata Region Italy n. 33 rooms for a total of n. 107 bedplace.The Hotel Sassi, the first hotel in  the  Sassi (1996) came into being refurbishing a series of dwellings spread out over an area, some of them partly built up and partly dug, going back to the 1500s. It is  located in the Sasso Barisano quarter, between  via san Giovanni  Vecchio at the top and via Fiorentini down below, just a short distance away from Matera’s main square, Piazza Vittorio Veneto
