Mobile Developer - Permanent - Dublin

Our customer in Dublin is urgently looking for an experienced Mobile Developer who will design, develop, implement and support mobile applications for iOS, Android and HTML5. The ideal candidate will have experience developing commercial Android and/or iOS applications, a strong command of object- oriented design and frameworks, and REST, HTTP, TCP/IP.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Define, develop, verify and maintain mobile solutions using iOS, Android and web technologies (e.g. REST/JSON)
• Create UIs that effectively communicate and deliver product function
• Translate business requirements, user needs, and technical capabilities into
• Assist in the submission of proposals on the long-term technical and architectural direction of all mobile applications products
• Ensure sound engineering design, process and quality practices are followed
• Selection and analysis of platforms for mobile application development
• Selection and analysis of software products and components
• Identify and communicate proactively technical problems

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree
• 3+ years of mobile application development (iOS, Android, HTML5) experience for Enterprise software products
• Experience of mobile and tablet technologies such as Cordova, PhoneGap or Titanium
• Experience with client-side MVC frameworks like Angular, Backbone, Typescript/ES6, Bootstrap, React
• Proven background in object-oriented JavaScript, test-driven development, and the practical use of design patterns
• Extensive background with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of JSON / AJAX / REST / RESTful
• Experience within an Agile environment
