For our Equipment Project department, we are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery on projects related to developing transport, installation and service equipment for the entire Siemens Wind Power turbine fleet and alignment with all relevant stakeholders in the Siemens Wind Power organisation.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Developing new lifting equipment for Onshore and Offshore wind turbines
  • Ownership of current lifting solution incl. assessment and support on systems usage
  • Validate interface and controlling systems with available crane solutions
  • Carrying out project management according to development tasks in equipment management
  • Making and maintaining a detailed list of tasks and time schedule for projects
  • Planning availability of resources and initiating adjustment of plans
  • Having the financial responsibility for the projects
  • Communicating relevant project information to all stakeholders and key functions in the organization
  • Making a detailed specification of the output from the projects
  • Participating in improving the project management process in Siemens Wind Power

In this position you may expect approx. 20-30 travel days per year.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have a degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering combined with 5+ years of relevant work and project management experience
  • Knowledge & technical experience with heavy lift equipment.
  • You have technical insight on crane solutions and approvals.
  • Special knowledge about lifting processes
  • You knowledge is preferably from Wind energy sector On Shore & Off Shore.
  • Preferably, you have technical experience with installation methods and equipment.
  • As a person you are open-minded and proactive with a quality-oriented approach to your tasks.
  • Your ability to coordinate and handle many projects at one time while still being able to focus on the end result is a prerequisite in this position.
  • You possess strong organizational and decision making skills, and you have the drive to motivate your team and create a good and inspiring work environment .
  • You thrive in a multicultural environment and you possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing.
