Job ID: 187978 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time Within Project Engineering department in our Offshore Market Unit in Vejle, we are looking for an experienced and committed SCADA Configurator. As a SCADA Project Configuration, you will be a central part of offshore SCADA projects and contribute to the offshore development in general. Moreover, you will create project specific SCADA solutions in close cooperation with the SCADA project team. You will be involved from start of the configuration phase until final SAT test has been performed and the SCADA project is handed over to service. What are my responsibilities? • Configuration of Siemens Wind Power SCADA software • Configuration of interfaces for 3rd party systems • Take active part in FAT and SAT test of the SCADA system • Technical support to the project organization during installation, commissioning and SAT • On site trouble shooting • Identify issues and bring up solutions for improving Siemens Wind Power SCADA system • Knowledge sharing across the organization What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have an IT related education, e.g. as Engineer, skilled information technologist combined with experience from configuration of SCADA, SRO and HMI systems. Preferably, you have gained experience from the wind turbine, power business, an industry company or from a provider of advanced SCADA systems • You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SQL and different industrials protocols like MODBUS, OPC XML, IEC60870-5-104, IEC61400-25 and preferably knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC programming tool • As a person, you are an action-oriented team player, well-structured and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. At the same time, you are good at networking and have a positive mindset • You possess excellent communication skills in English, both orally and in writing Some travel activity to sites and clients must be expected. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
