Description of Company:  Restaurant or Hotel up to 5* in VORARLBERG Austria (near the lake of constance)

Job title:  Chef de partie (m/f) / Commis de partie (m/f) / Cook (m/f) / Pâtissier (m/f)

 

Chef de Partie: Gardemanger, Entremetier, Saucier, Patissier - m/f

Souschef (m/f) - Young Chef (m/f) - Breakfast Cook (m/f) - Commis de Cuisine (m/f)

 

Job description: The Restaurants are specialized in different areas and it would be an advantage if the candidate fits to some of them:

** Knowledge of  cooking high Austrian, Italian or French cuisine

** Knowledge of cooking traditional Austrian dishes

** Knowledge of cooking International specialties

** Cold dishes

** Sweet desserts

The kitchen are modern and fully equipped, the team are helpful and supports each other and the working atmosphere is positive, friendly and dedicated.

However, it can be very stressful, so good nerves, accuracy and professionalism are prerequisites to work in an upscale kitchen.

The working conditions are fair

 

Skills:

** Education, work experience, language, certificate etc.  

** Completed vocational training / culinary education / Chef

** German language skills should be available

** Organized, quick and accurate working style

** Familiarity with hygiene regulations/cleanliness

** Used to work in a kitchen team

** Experience in seasonal work

** Good taste and creativity

** Friendliness

 

Working hours and place of work:  48 hours per week, 5 to 6 days per week, including weekends

Places of work: tourism region of VORARLBERG Austria (in the very west of Austria, bordering Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany)      

Start date (and, if necessary, End date):

Beginning from mid of december 2021 till mid of april 2022

 

Salary:

++ For a weekly full time based employment of 40 hours the regular remuneration is EUR 1.650 € gross.

++ Some companies offer a salary from EUR 2.300 € gross on a 48 hours basis.

++ Many employers are ready for overpayment if the skills are met by the worker

++ According to the Austrian labor market law, 13th and 14th salary are aliquoted

-- You must have a work permit or free access to the Austrian labour market

** Accommodation for free (some maybe ask for a small deposit)

-- Single or Double rooms or small apartments

** Meals for free

-- Internet / Wi-Fi for free

** As a tourism employee in Vorarlberg, you receive many discounts on leisure activities
