What you will do
You will be part of the Intelligent Systems Area where you will join a young and dynamic team, with extensive experience in Industry 4.0 projects and with the well-defined mission of being the main driving force behind the useful digitalisation of Galician industry, establishing itself as the fundamental reference for the modernisation of its processes through the application of innovative technologies.

Day-to-day tasks include:
You will participate in the design, development and deployment of tools for monitoring, analysis and exploitation of data, mainly related to industrial processes.
You will develop agile software with a focus on quality and best-practices: unit testing, refactoring, CI/CD, etc.
You will participate in the development of projects for important clients in the Galician industrial environment and also internal assets.
You will support the team in tasks closer to DevOps.
Therefore, your daily work will be based on helping your team to achieve high levels of quality in terms of product and process, and contributing to the Intelligent Systems area through outreach initiatives.
What we are looking for
Real experience in Python development. Java experience desirable.
Familiarity with JIRA.
Experience with GIT and code review procedure.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to search for new solutions to real problems.
Passionate about new technologies and problem solving. And, of course, be willing to offer new ideas.
Highly communicative, able to work with multiple teams: internal and external team members, customers and suppliers.
Telecommunications, Computer Science Degree or a related technical/scientific discipline would be an asset.
It would be great if you have
Knowledge in environment management: UNIX/Linux.
Familiar with modern orchestration and virtualisation technologies: Kubernetes and containers.
Knowledge and experience with cloud environments such as AWS and/or Azure.
Relational and NoSQL database management.
Knowledge and/or previous experience with document management systems such as Alfresco.
We are an organisation with international projects, so ability to read English is required and oral communication skills are highly desirable.

Salary package. We are looking for the right person. Annual salary offer: between 21.000 €BA - 26.000 €BA + variable (10%) depending on the candidate's value.
