Finance Analyst in Controllership team plays key role in group reporting & analytics. The role aim is to support the month end activities related mainly to HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), weekly reporting and ad-hoc analysis and also deliver high quality reports for the Management as well as for the Interim and Year-end reporting.

What will you do? You will:

  • Like For Like sales reporting & British Retail Consortium data submission on weekly basis.
  • Weekly cash flow forecast consolidation & submission to Treasury team.
  • Weekly & Monthly Supply Chain reporting.
  • Control of submitted monthly data, review levels and validations checks. Communication with markets with regards to missing and incorrect data.
  • Monthly submissions of trial balances to HFM.
  • Intercompany mismatches checks & chasing.
  • Management Accounts preparation.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the various users of HFM and support the HFM user community with data submissions / mapping, data grids, developing and running Hyperion reports to be used for reporting consolidating and consolidated financial results.
  • Interim and Year-end reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist in special projects as necessary.
  • Deliver high quality support and challenge to existing ways of working and reporting.
  • Cross Functional Working - work closely with other Finance teams to optimise reporting and to get the relevant figures.

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of HFM is an advantage
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Advanced level of English (strong verbal and written communication skills)
  • Understanding of corporate and group finance requirements
  • Good accounting skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of finance processes (willingness and ability to learn about Corporate & Group Finance requirements and operational/commercial drivers of the business)
