Language Development Specialist with German (Maternity Cover)

The job of German Language Development Specialist was established for the purpose of developing Modis Bulgaria employees’ ability to effectively perform their work-related tasks in German. The Specialist is supposed to design and deliver a high-quality training curriculum, providing methods to support and/or reinforce classroom goals and ensuring an optimal learning environment. In addition to this, the German Language Development Specialist in charge of developing appropriate lesson plans, assessments, and reports related to all training activities.

 

As a Language Development Specialist you will be responsible for: 

• Partnering with client groups (e.g., business groups, defined client groups, or functional groups) to identify development solutions within the defined L&D strategy.
• Supporting the development of strategic development plans aligned with business priorities for business managers.
• Leading Upskilling Language Academy
• On-boarding language training
• Organizing language sessions for employees
• Performing regular language evaluations
• Recommends solutions, including developing/delivering customized language training courses or programs 

If you have: 

• Degree in German philology, linguistics, or similar discipline
• Fluent German both verbal and written (C1 or C2 according to the CEFR)
• At least 2 years of intensive German language training experience, preferably in a corporate environment or with adult groups
• Solid knowledge of the latest corporate language training techniques, tools, and theories
• Advanced level of MS PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytic skills
• Attention to detail
• Customer service skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Very good Project Management and Presentation skills
• Excellent teaching skills
