Accounting/Finance Service Desk Clerk

Responsibilities:

• For operational accounting & finance related topics the Accounting / Finance Service Desk Clerk is the first contact person for key internal and external stakeholders
• Providing basic solutions to raised issues following proscribed guidelines and escalate as necessary in a timely manner
• Resolve customer queries/complaints related to a broad range of Accounting/Finance processes as specified by relevant SLAs and escalating queries/complaints as appropriate
• Processing general requests autonomously
• Achieve performance objectives agreed with Shared Services Center Manager
• Propose, evaluate and implement  process improvements in collaboration with Process Experts

Required Skills, knowledge and abilities:

• Experience of working within SAP will be an asset
• Ideally experience of working within the accounting areas
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve quickly is also crucial
• General understanding and basic knowledge of accounting processes
• SSC experience is an advantage
• Good working knowledge MS Office
• Fluent in German and English language
