Our product development site in Malmö is expanding. This site is responsible for the complete process of developing new hygiene equipment, for people with reduced mobility. We are now looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take a broad responsibility when it comes to electronics and embedded systems.
As an Electrical Engineer at Arjo you will be part of a modern and dynamic development team, consisting of around 25 people, and be working with new product development. We work in tight and cross-functional teams where you will be working from prestudy until launch of finished products.
You will be working with mainly hardware but some knowledge of software development of embedded systems is meritorious. You will be responsible for part of the whole development chain from design input to implementation and verification where you will have a big influence on how the work is done. Areas of work could be Control of motors, IoT, Design of PCB, EMC and RF. The work will also consist of contacts with third party test houses like EMC labs, UL and TÜV.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree within Electronics or similar
- At least 5 year experience of working as an Electrical engineer preferably with embedded systems
- Good knowledge of electronical design methodologies and patterns
- Familiar with Altium Cad system or equal
- Beneficial if you have experience of medical device standards like 60601-1 and regulation of DC-motors
- Experience of C-programming is meritorious
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
