Social and health care jobs in the city of Suonenjoki

We would like to tell you about social and health care jobs available in the city of Suonenjoki.

We have healthcare jobs available in elderly care, mental health services, home care and care for the disabled. These jobs can be offered both by private and municipal service providers in the social and health care sector. Short term positions and summer jobs are also available.

Right now, we are looking for enthusiastic and active nursing professionals for elderly services.

Suonenjoki city is in the middle of Finland, only 50 kilometers from Kuopio. Services, such as a library, a pharmacy, a health center, shops, a multipurpose hall, an indoor swimming pool and a cinema, are available within a walking distance in the center of the city. The center is surrounded by forests and clean water, offering diverse recreational opportunities in the middle of nature.

The city has a wide range of industries and jobs, such as the metal and wood processing and food manufacturing. We also have elementary schools and a high school. There are smaller kindergartens and child groups in early childhood education. Suonenjoki is located with an easy access to nearby cities, offering possibilities for example for a spouse’s employment.

Palvelut, kuten kirjasto, apteekki, terveyskeskus, kaupat, monitoimihalli, uimahalli ja elokuvateatteri ovat kävelymatkan päässä kaupungin keskustasta. Keskustaa ympäröivät metsät ja puhtaat vesistöt tarjoavat monipuoliset harrastusmahdollisuudet luonnon keskellä.

Suonenjoella on monenlaista teollisuutta esim. metalli-, puunjalostus- ja elintarviketeollisuutta. Täällä on peruskouluja ja lukio. Varhaiskasvatuksessa on pienehköjä päiväkoteja ja lapsiryhmiä. Lähellä on myös useita paikkakuntia esimerkiksi puolison työskentelyyn.
