About the organisation
Muiríosa Foundation provide a range of services and supports to persons with an intellectual disability (and their families) – residential services, respite, day services, education, and multidisciplinary supports – across eight counties: Kildare, Laois, Offaly, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Westmeath, Meath, and Longford. Our headquarters are at Moore Abbey, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare.
Currently there are four regions, each led by a Regional Director: South Kildare; Laois, Offaly and Westmeath/Meath/Longford. The regions exercise a wide degree of discretion within the overall vision and strategic objectives of the organisation.
Muiríosa Foundation provide services on behalf of the Health Service Executive (HSE). HSE are our principal funders. The services linked to HSE funding are set out in an annual service-level agreement.
