Nightingale Nursing Home is an owner operated  31 bedded nursing home. The owner is an experienced nurse who has dedicated her entire career to care of the older person. This dedication follows through to the recruitment process, having the right person to fulfil the the right role is central to the continuation of the care and service we currently provide. 

Nightingale Nursing Home is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our dedicated team of carers and nurses. The ideal candidate will have genuine interest and experience in care of the older person. They will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development, possess experience at a senior management level and a management qualification that is pertinent to their role. Experience of the nursing home sector coupled with knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards is vital and involvement in regulatory inspections (e.g. HIQA) a distinct advantage.

We acheive this through the careful recruitment and training bolstered by the support, supervision and instruction given to them to ensure that they can carry out their duties to the best of their abilities.
