Seasonal worker/mid-level manager

We are looking for a motivated, outdoors loving and hardworking new colleague at Føllingstua Camping & Resort this summer.

The work on our campsite is highly varied and includes handling bookings, cleaning our facilities and cabins, interaction with guests, handyman work, mowing, helping in the kitchen, tending the bar and general repair- and maintenance work on the campground. These are some of the routine tasks that all our staff must perform.

As most of our guests during the high season are tourists, it is important to us that our staff possess good language skills. We require a high level of English proficiency, both verbal and written. Ideally the person we are looking for also speaks German and has a basic proficiency in Norwegian.

Our seasonal staff will be organized in teams and the person we are looking to hire would function as one of our team leaders. He/she would be required to help with some management tasks such as inventory, purchasing, some accounting tasks, shift scheduling and event planning. We frequently host and cater seminars at the resort, and we are looking to find someone who can and is motivated to help organize and host seminars and team building events for local businesses. Basic knowledge of Excel, experience with managing staff and strong organizational skills are important skills in relation to the performance of this role. We are also hoping to offer guided fishing to our guests the coming season, and fishing experience would therefore a highly valued skill.

Applicants must be over 20 years old and have a driving license class B.

Ideally, we are looking to employ someone from mid-May till end of September, but as a minimum we require availability from end of May/early June till mid-September.
