With new owners and strong local commitment we have re-started the iron ore mine in Pajala. We are doing this under the name Kaunis Iron AB. Our unique iron ore concentrate with its quality and environmental advantages has already shown itself to be in big demand among the world’s steelworks. Kaunisvaara means ”The Beautiful Mountain”, which we agree with any day of the week.
