As a Front-end Developer in Avanade you will be working on large scale website solutions for our clients. As a front-end role you will be working closely together with Visual Designers and Backend developers in a high collaborative and agile environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Implement websites usually on CMS systems
  • Organize your markup, JavaScript and CSS for maintainability
  • Challenge Visual Designers to generalize components for better implementation while still having the clients need in perspective
  • Work closely together with Backend CMS developer to incorporate HTML
  • Develop high-quality and well performing code
  • Work in Scrum/agile teams with constant collaboration with other developers or teams

We expect you have experience with

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Responsive Design
  • AJAX to REST and Api calls
  • Build automation tools like gulp, webpack, npm and Node.js
  • Git
  • You have a structured and disciplined approach to writing code and honor good quality
  • Good communication skills are important since we are at most times client facing

Experience with these is very appreciated

  • TypeScript
  • Frameworks like Vue.js, React, Angular and jQuery, Bootstrap and/or Foundation
  • Preprocessors like Less and Sass
  • Prototyping in e.g. Axure and designing/editing in Adobe Photoshop, it would great too
  • MS Team Foundation Version control
  • Single-Page Applications

  • Enjoy working in diverse teams
  • Have excellent written and oral/presentation skills both in Danish and in English
