We are now looking for Cost Engineer!

  Description

The Purchasing team consists of 25 people located in Sweden working side by side with a Chinese Purchasing team. Buyers, SQ-engineers and Cost engineers forms a strong team to support all future projects, both service and vehicle projects.

You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams, and quick learning cycles are the keys to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

We will ensure that you have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!

   This role also involves:

  • Cost breakdown and build up of part prices and tooling investments from the early development phase, through sourcing phase and change management process. 
  • Establish and build processes for the Cost Engineering organization.
  • Continuous development of efficient procedures. 

 You will also support:

  • Development engineering from the early development phase by advises regarding feasibility and cost efficient design.
  • Buyers through sourcing process and change management which includes technical discussion with suppliers / partners.

Global travelling to suppliers / partners is a part of the role. 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Deep knowledge in one or several of the areas; Metal Stamping/Machining , Electrical Hard- / Software, Infotainment, Wiring harness ,Electrical drivelines.
  • Deep knowledge in process steps, tooling and dies manufacturing for the applicable area.
  • A Technical or Economic University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Cost Engineering.
  • Experience in Industrial Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience in Cost management calculation software (Siemens Tpcm is a merit).
  • You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Drivers licens B

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
