The main focus of this role are to increase guest satisfaction by providing efficient, prompt, trouble free and courteous food and beverage service to guest in the bar & lounge in line with departmental and hotel guidelines

Main duties:

  • Ensure all hotel bars are kept clean and tidy making for a safe working environment.

  • To actively up-sell and promote products in the bar in accordance with monthly target

  • Report maintenance issues arising in all departments to Bar Manager or Duty Manager

  • Attend all necessary training

  • Adhere to all systems and procedures as outlined in the standards of procedures manual

  • Complete relevant daily/weekly checklists as requested by Bars Manager and or Bar Supervisor

  • Provides efficient, prompt, trouble free, and courteous service while serving and setting tables

  • Accurately records, pre-checks, and picks up all food and beverage orders

  • Serves guests their food and beverage promptly and courteously

  • Sets tables as needed prior or on guest arrival

  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of food and beverage menus, to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly
