JBF RAK LLC. is a leading manufacturer of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) polymer resin in the Gulf Region. JBF RAK manufactures two broad types of PET products – PET resin & related Biaxial-Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate (BOPET) packaging film. PET is a thermoplastic polymer used in synthetic fibres, film & sheet and beverage, food and non-food liquid containers. It is used widely for its strength, ductility, stiffness and hardness. BOPET Film is one of the principal products used by the flexible packaging industry due to its high tensile strength, chemical and dimensional stability, transparency, reflectivity, gas and aroma barrier properties and electrical insulation. Applications for flexible packaging include labels, adhesive tapes and wrappings for food, tobacco, textiles and consumer products. JBF RAK LLC. is investing, both upstream and downstream, more than USD 1bln over the next 3 years expanding its global production facilities creating full integration on the feedstock side. One of those projects is a NEW PET plant in Belgium (Geel) with the latest MTR technology and a capacity of 475kt per annum. The plant is scheduled to be up and running by Q2 2014. The sales & distribution for the Belgian PET plant will be handled by its branch office in CH-Zug. Currently, we are seeking to occupy several vacancies within our new Belgian PET plant.

JOB CONTENT: 

Be responsible for all panel operations Evaluate operators’ feedback on SOPs and make recommendations to shift engineer to initiate updates to SOPs as needed

Coordinate closely all field activities Proactively identify the areas of obstructions and breakdowns and take corrective, preventive steps, in close coordination with shift engineer

Close and effective coordination with service department for all shift activities

Ensure strict implementation of SOPs and plant procedures in order to run the plant smoothly and safely Ensure the implementation of all legal requirements, e.g., ISO, REACH, 4S, etc.

Support the shift engineer in team administrative matters Act as the on-scene coordinator in case of emergency events

PROFILE:

Bachelor level or equal through experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in production (PET only) and SAP systems

Good written and oral skills

Able to adopt to changing situations Team player with high levels of professionalism, integrity and enthusiasm

Willing to rotate amongst different roles in the operations team Strong safety awareness and strong positive attitude towards work Able to work in an multilingual and multicultural environment

Good communication and coordination skills Always willing to give 100%
