International Career Day & European Job Days Genoa 2014 is about to go live on November 5. The event, which will be held over three days, is an open job fair aimed at matching highly-skilled jobseekers with employers across Europe. This year’s event will focus on three key areas: the marine economy, the green economy and the tourism sector.
At the event, jobseekers will have the opportunity to meet international companies, to apply for jobs and book job interviews with recruiters. The event will also have a Job Area, where jobseekers can receive help and advice on creating a CV and cover letter, tips for job interviews and much more. During the event, jobseekers will also be able to attend seminars on job and career topics and on the Youth Guarantee Program. Furthermore, they will also have access to workshops about living, working and studying in several EU countries.
Employers will also be provided with a wide range of personalized services, including advertising of their job openings, screening and matching of CVs, and scheduling of interviews with candidates. Employers will also be able to present their businesses and the job vacancies during a one-hour Pitch Elevator and hold live chats with potential candidates from around Europe.
To allow the widest possible audience to take part, the event will be held both online and onsite, with the online section being held from 19: to 15:00 on November 6. The onsite section will have a different focus on each day, with November 5 focusing on the marine economy; November 6 - the green economy and innovation technology, and November 7 - tourism and healthcare.
