Internationella Engelska Skolan will soon start recruiting the very best teachers to start in early August 2021.

We are looking for Elementary and Secondary teachers of the following subjects: Art, Home Economics, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science, Textiles, Woodwork.

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a highly successful school group in Sweden with students receiving high grades and a diverse and energetic staff. We have around 28,000 students enrolled in our 39 schools across the country with over 3,000 members of staff. IES is non-selective and students do not pay fees to attend school. IES schools are bilingual with up to 50% of teaching in English and follow the Swedish national curriculum.

IES provides an international and stimulating environment, where commitment, professionalism and the English language are common denominators. We work in an environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.

We are looking for teachers who, like us, believes in giving students the opportunity to realise their full potential, whatever their background. Our teachers are passionate about their subjects and able to inspire students. They have the tools to create a calm learning environment and differentiate their teaching.

We require:

  • Current teaching license/registration with relevant higher education from outside of Sweden (TEFL/CELTA are not sufficient) or Swedish “lärarlegitimation” 

  • Native-level English speaking
