Job offer description
We are seeking for outgoing Wilderness Guides with a cheery personality, to join our company. This position offers the possibility for people with a passion for nature, outdoors, and adventure to grow their career at the Northern Lights Village.
The job requires flexibility to work in different conditions during winter, good customer service skills and the ability to work as a part of team. Drivers license is mandatory and first aid-skills are seen as big advantage.
The job itself will be greeting customers, providing them with thermal clothing, photographing the Aurora-activities, ensuring the safety of our guests with snowmobiles at all times, skiing, ice-fishing, snowshoeing etc.
Job requirements
- Good customer service skills
- Good teamwork skills
- Fluent spoken English
- Respect towards nature and adventurous approach for the wilderness
- B-license for driving (basic passenger car license)
- Ability to handle groups independently and as a team.
Nice to have
- First aid-certificate
- Photographing skills
- Ability to speak other languages such as Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish or French
Benefits
- Minimum 90hrs/3 weeks
