We Offer Being part of our Esbjerg office in Denmark, you will work, along with approximately 350 onshore employees, in the headquarters for all Maersk Oil production activities in the Danish sector of the North Sea. You will join our Well Intervention Team of 5 people, responsible for all well intervention activities. The team is part of the Well Services Department which has overall responsibility for well intervention, well maintenance, well integrity and well completion equipment and technology. As our new Well Intervention Engineer, you will be cooperating closely with the Petroleum Engineering Department as well as building strong ties to other stakeholders relevant to our well intervention activities. With time, you will have the opportunity to gain more responsibility and possibly become team leader in a rewarding performance culture, where you will also be empowered and supported to make valuable contributions. Key Responsibilities Usually, the Well Intervention team handles 3-5 operations at our offshore facilities simultaneously. You will typically be working with planning and supporting of 1-2 operations. Your responsibility will be to: • Liaise with stakeholders regarding design of potential jobs • Prepare detailed programmes for the operations • Mobilise Service providers – equipment and personnel • Mobilise Company owned equipment • Carry out day to day support to the Offshore team • Keep close contact with our service providers • Actively participate in improvements concerning intervention methods and tools • Maintain Well file and update upon changes • Be part of a 24-hour duty arrangement within the team Who we are looking for To succeed in this position, you need to be a team player committed to your colleagues without losing focus on your own tasks or your ability to work independently. Your professional background: Preferably, you have 4-6 years’ experience from the oil and gas industry During these years, you have built strong practical and theoretical competencies within multi-skilled intervention activities i.e. coiled tubing, slick- and wire-line, e-line and logging You are fluent in English, speaking and writing the language confidently Your IT skills are good. You know your way around MS Office.
