AniCura is a group of animal hospitals and clinics located all over Europe that offer a complete range of veterinary care services and specialised care for small animals.

We are now looking for vet surgeons to join our two large hospitals, that are situated in the south of Sweden; Hässleholm Veterinary Hospital and Läckeby Veterinary Hospital. Both work places have around 80 employees who are passionate about animal healthcare and its development. They offer a wide range of specialist care including advanced orthopedic surgery, as well as emergency services and referrals in the south of Sweden. Our practices are well equipped with all the latest medical equipment such as MRI, CT scanner, digital radiography and ultrasound scanners.

Hässleholm Veterinary Hospital is a top modern and newly renovated clinic situated in the outskirts of the bustling two town of Hässleholm, situated in the south of Sweden. The location is near to both city life and countryside, within easy reach of ferry ports and airports for connections to the rest of Europe.

Läckeby Veterinary Hospital is set in the countryside only 10 minutes’ drive from the coastal town of Kalmar, located on the southeast Baltic coast of Sweden. Kalmar is a popular tourist and holiday destination during the summer months. Plans are ongoing to relocate the Läckeby clinic to a brand-new state of the art hospital in Kalmar within the next couple of years.

We are looking to recruit skilled and passionate vets to join our teams. We seek devoted team players who thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by continuous development of veterinary medicine. You need to have at least a few years’ experience as a small animal vet surgeon. Specialization or further education within the profession is also preferred, but not a must. Off course you seek to move to Sweden permanently and wish to learn the language too. You will be working with experienced skilled colleagues, both vets and nurses, all of whom would take great care in introducing you to our organization and our routines. Both workplaces have experience in successfully helping colleagues from other countries to settle in to our work culture, and as a result we now have thriving and diverse workgroups from all over Europe.

Apart from the monthly salary, we also pay generous out-of-hour’s compensation for evening-, weekend- and nighttime work. The positions are permanent and full-time, however part-time work is also a possible option upon agreement. We can assist with a relocation package, including Swedish language learning and temporary accommodation, whilst in the process of moving to Sweden.
