Vestas Global IT is investing heavily in transforming processes and integrations with customers and suppliers. We are currently advancing our two speed IT platform driving process automation and a productive mobile workforce. Here is the API & App team that is end-to-end responsible for enterprise API management and mobile apps. Together with this team of high skilled colleagues, you will drive the Vestas' wide Integration and API management initiative collaborating with stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities

As a Lead API & Integration Consultant you will be involved in implementing interfaces using design patterns, development guidelines and standards setup by Vestas.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Implementation and test of integration scenarios based on pattern document and technical specifications
  • Responsible to code and configure interfaces and to create unit test cases and component testing 
  • Implementation and extension of prepackaged integration scenarios
  • Responsible to fill in technical details and configurations of interface in design document
  • Responsible to get interface reviewed by integration architect before going live and handover to support

Qualifications

  • You have a relevant technical degree e.g. a B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in Computer Science / IT or similar relevant to the position
  • 3-5 years of experience within system development and integration
  • Experience with UML / ER modelling 

It is an advantage if you have experience with some of the following:

  • API development using Microsoft .net, C#, ASP.net, MVC, Web API
  • Azure DevOps (ADO) working with all aspect of the tool including ALMOps
  • Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
  • Worked with agile processes, SCRUM and DevOps 
  • Knowledge of API management
  • Knowledge of micro/mini service architecture
  • Knowledge of Native mobile apps & web apps
  • Security 
  • Furthermore, it is beneficial with knowledge of Sales Force API and Integration technology

  • Solid process understanding and sense-making

  • You need to be a team player for our department to be successful and we live by coordinating efficiently
