Technica Translations OÜ, established in 2017, is a professional translation company operating in the international language services market, providing translation and localization into the languages of the Baltic States (+Russian). The company’s customers include a number of international language service providers who appreciate a consistent, high quality one-stop shop for all of their written translation needs involving Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Russian. The customers are located all over the globe, while the vendors live mostly in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
We are presently looking for a full-time
VENDOR MANAGER
YOUR EVERYDAY WORK TASKS WOULD INCLUDE
- Finding, testing and negotiating with new vendors (translators and editors)
- Ongoing administrative communication with vendors
- Managing the vendor database
- Meeting vendors regularly, organizing meet-and-greet events
- Supporting Project Managers in their everyday work
- Carrying out occasional QA checks
A PERFECT CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A very good command of English
- Interest in languages and an understanding of the language services business
- Ambition and will to develop in an international environment
- Punctuality and an independent, pro-active mindset
IT WOULDN’T HURT TO ALSO
- Speak Russian and other foreign languages
- Have some experience in the field of Human Resources
