Job offer description

The Vendor Management is responsible for tracking and solving supplier invoice problems in OnBase and in SAP.

This team has an overall insight on all procurement related activities as they are in contact not only with suppliers that deliver chemicals to our customers, but with suppliers that deliver raw materials and services (i.e. training, office rent, printers, office supplies etc.) to Nalco as end user. An unpaid/late supplier invoice can have serious consequences (i.e. blocked raw material deliveries to Nalco plants; blocked direct chemical deliveries to key account customers; blocked electricity supply in Nalco offices; penalty fees etc.), thus the team plays an extremely important role in the Procure to Pay process. The team is mostly in contact with the Nalco suppliers, service teams, Accounts Payable in Argentina and the procurement buyers.

Maintain/Create good relationship with all European Procurement Buyers; Accounts Payable; Service teams; Suppliers; PMDG (Procurement Master Data Group); Vendor Master Data and any Nalco employee who purchases goods or service from suppliers. Manage OnBase queues (Nalco invoice database; workflow approval for invoices). Reviewing incorrect invoices sent by Suppliers to Nalco. Identifying supplier issues and helping in correcting them. Inform Suppliers of rejected invoices and Nalco invoicing procedures. Take active part in continuously cleaning the Vendor contact details, verify bank data changes. Manage Vendor (supplier) queries on a daily basis. Make sure activities are SOX compliant.
