Vehicle Electrical Engineer
Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients from automotive sector based in the Netherlands, we are looking for Vehicle Electrical Engineerwith experience in vehicle system development.
As a Vehicle Electrical Engineer you will be primarily responsible for the realization of the correct functioning of the relevant vehicle system during development, production run, series production, customer usage and service issues.
You will be involved in the specification and development of new and modified electrical systems and components, which are part of the entire electrical system of the vehicle. You will provide the documentation, which is necessary to be able to develop EOL- and dealer applications for the test-system.
You play a role as an integrator between the supplier and other internal departments such as Marketing, After Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Testing, where the focus is on correct functional specifications of systems (hardware and software) and content monitoring the entire development.
The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering / Automotive Engineering / Computer Science
- At least 2 years relevant work experience
- Knowledge and experience with PC and Windows platform
- Some knowledge and experience with electrical / electronic systems of the vehicle
- Knowledge and experience with CAN network applications on vehicles (must)
- Self-reliance, initiative and results orientation
- Some knowledge and experience in the areas of coordination and planning is a plus
- Team player
- Good communication skills in speaking and writing in German and English
- Command of the Dutch language is a plus, not a must
