Job offer description

The Telecom Project Manager provides overall project management and leadership in the achievement of assigned projects while maintaining a high and consistent level of service quality, customer support and customer satisfaction. He/she coordinates with System Engineering to staff projects and maintain the quality of the services that are being delivered, including project kick-off meetings, project management during the project and post mortems. The Project Manager will be responsible for negotiating and implementing change orders while maintaining client relationships to ensure client satisfaction for project execution.

[+] resource planning and monitoring project team performance

[+] developing project plans including tasks, milestones and target dates

[+] reconciling status from a variety of resources

[+] identifying and resolving potential conflicts in multiple team projects

[+] identifying project risks and issues

[+] conducting regularly scheduled project status meetings

[+] assuming ownership of the results

 

Competencies

[+] experienced in MS suite and Sharepoint

[+] excellent facilitation, meeting and presentation skills

[+] you are a creative, communicative logical thinker and problem solver with a positive can-do attitude

[+] you can adapt very quickly and like to take the initiative to actively improve performance

 

Technical skills

[+] basic network knowledge

[+] basic understanding of software development

 

Basic qualifications for consideration

[+] this position requires that you work from our offices located in Izegem, Belgium

[+] good verbal and written communication skills in English

[+] at least 5 years of experience in project management

[+] experience in a telecom or ICT environment is a plus
