For our offshore COE (Customer Order Engineering) team, we are looking for a Technical Designer with the ambition to assist our technical design team. You will be responsible for creating 3D models and 2D drawings, doing SAP work and quality checks and providing general technical support to our offshore projects. Together with your colleagues, in an experienced and multi-disciplinary technical team, you will have involvement and responsibilities within the sales and tender phase as well as in the entire range of technical processes from the first concept studies and through to installation and follow up. What are my responsibilities? As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for the final touch on all the technical documentation within the technical design team. You will be responsible for the communication between our approval department (ECM) and the technical design team for specific tasks. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: • Creation of 2D drawings in Inventor and NX • 3D modelling in Inventor and NX • Knowledge of manufacturing, welding and surface treatment • Following the design until the final approval is done What do I need to qualify for this job? • Technical designer education • You have broad-based technical insight and at least 3 to 5 years’ of experience in 2D & 3D modelling • You have a quality and result oriented approach to your work • You are an outgoing self-starter, proactive and take the initiative • You work well, in both team setting and independently • Experience with Inventor & NX software • You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
