YOUR TASKS

  • Maintenance, operation and improvement of internal Windows and macOS systems
  • Support for system administration of internal and external Linux servers
  • Discussion of technical solutions - inhouse and outbound
  • Maintenance, adaptation, documentation of software solutions, tools and scripts
  • Advising colleagues on all technical issues

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Approximately 3 years professional experience as system administrator and first-level supporter in a medium to large company or agency
  • Experience in the administration of Windows and macOS, ideally Linux as well (Ubuntu, CentOS or Gentoo)
  • Experience with virtualization solutions (VMware, XEN)
  • Good knowledge of common hardware (PC clients, Macs, printers, notebooks) and hardware components
  • Knowledge of networks (VLAN, VPN)
  • Knowledge in handling Wiki systems (Mediawiki, Redmine)
  • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Good communication skills (knowledge transfer to employees)
  • Structured working method, high quality standards
  • Fluent in English and German
