For its establishment in the Netherlands, Department Project Realization, Our client is looking for an System Integration Engineer (mechatronics)

The department Project Realization consists of product teams and integration teams. These teams are the basis of project implementation, each with input from their own specialty.

With the departure of Project realization there is  a vacancy for the position of System Integration Engineer in the team Tobacco / Dairy & Juices. This team works alongside System Integration Engineers also mechanical, hardware, software and commissioning engineers. They report to the group leader.

What we expect from you?
You work as a foreman 'in a multidisciplinary team of engineers in the implementation of one or more projects (in different phases) to the optimal system solution to determine the limits of (customer) specifications, budget and schedule.

Your main tasks are:
· Perform functional analysis and the preparation of functional and interface specifications according to customer order;
· Allow the preparation of specifications for the hardware, software and mechanical equipment;
· Splitting functionalities into production packages according Work Breakdown Structure and checking the quality of engineering   
   packages for production;
· Sending the project on technology, budget and planning and functional reporting to the Project Manager;
· The preparation of the FAT and SAT-plan and coordinate the SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activities on-site at the customer.
· The work implies that customers sometimes (worldwide) has  to be visited.

Recuirments:

 · Have completed a bachelors degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent education;
·  Have experience in devising system solutions in the field of logistics and material handling systems;
 · Have at least several years of experience with engineering (mechanical and / or electrical and / or software) within the industrial  automation;
·  Seeks cooperation with the members of the project team;
·  Are able to the wishes of the customer and the optimal system solution to transfer the project team members;
 · Have strong communication skills in both written and spoken Dutch, German and English.
