System Engineer with microservice experience

 

Does software and Cloud technologies run in your veins? Are you driven to implement new features of the highest quality? To expand and develop our world class products based on Cloud technologies, we are now looking for passionate and talented System Engineers.

At our office in Aarhus you will participate in the early development of a brand-new product based on the latest Cloud technologies within the Intelligence Military domain. The product is part of the Systematic SitaWare Suite, which is a breakthrough in battle control software that offers clarity, simplicity and high performance that addresses real world command and control challenges at the frontline.

 

You will contribute to produce a world class product as well as gain a great knowledge within a large set of cloud technologies. The program currently consists of 27 employees divided into scrum teams that are assisted with architects, testers, test managers and a User Experience Designer, and we are currently looking for five more colleagues ranging from entry to senior developers, to join our team situated in Aarhus.

 

It will be your overall responsible to implement new features together with your team working with a broad range of technologies. At a later stage when the product is released, you will also take part of improving and maintaining the already implemented features which the team is responsible for.

 

Your daily tasks will vary and consist of:

  • Participate in the scoping, designing and architecture of features together with your senior colleagues
  • Implementing new features for the SitaWare Intel Cloud product
  • Improvement and maintaining of implemented features
  • Act as full stack developer for a large part of cloud technologies

 

The developers in the teams span seniority from 2 – 20+ years with a high level of technical competence within the team. This enables the team to produce a mission critical world class product of high quality.

Driven to develop

You are first and foremost interested in developing and learning new cloud solutions based on which technology is best for the product. As a person you are proactive, responsible and like to take the lead and help your colleagues reach the goals for the team. It is important that you are a team player and thrive in an agile scrum set up. Besides that, you like learning and investigating new technologies and are able to help clarify which technologies fit the product best.

 

We imagine you hold a master or bachelor’s degree within Computer Science or similar, and you have 2- 5 years of experience from a position as a system engineer. You speak and write English fluently.

 

We are utilizing a large set of 3rd Party Cloud technologies, and you have already gained experienced or knowledge of some of the listed technologies:

  • Containers (Docker)
  • Java and “Spring Boot”
  • Microservices
  • Angular 10+
  • Kubernetes
  • Graph database
  • Machine Learning (Python, Tensorflow)
  • NoSQL DB (Cassandra)
  • Search index (ElasticSearch)
