System Analyst and Development Specialist (Budapest)

Your tasks

• Supervise the development of the PC systems based on the business requirements
• Manage technical feasibility studies, systems plans, programming plans, test plans, documentation and implementation
• Design the functional set of applications and their interfaces (systems), required to automate business processes and meet business needs
• Responsible for translating the clients’ business requirements into the design of systems, applications or processes for a variety of opportunities
• General system design
• Detail technical design
• Program development, program changes
• Technical interface maintenance
• Perform quality assurance for system changes (follow up projects)
• Prepare, co-ordinate and/or oversee system testing
• Prepare and/or assist in end user documentation and instruction
• Ensure the management of the analytical problem solving in the frame of third line application support
• Strategic analysis - Understand client needs, gather requirements and translate these requirements into solution or reference architectures to support business strategy
• Relationship management
• Development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data
• Responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring application usability
• Have a clear overview of architectural application landscape
• Interacts with system and service providers, branch experts and staff at various levels

Your skills

• College or University degree in informatics
• At least 3 years of IT management including system planning, programming and customisation 
  • C#
  • JavaScript
  • SQL server
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
• Thorough knowledge of system planning, programming, customisation of banking/financial systems, competency in business products, operations, processes and procedures
• ITIL knowledge
• Experience in conducting system testing
• Knowledge of Project Management Tools and Project Management Methodology
• Strong communication skills: written and spoken English needs to be convincing
• People management skills, ability to motivate
• Delegation and coaching skills
• Time management, priority setting, ability to keep deadlines, discipline
• Cooperative attitude
