Praxis Care support individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental ill health, dementia, acquired brain injury, and complex needs throughout Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England, and Isle of Man. We are currently going through an exceptional period of growth. Due to this growth and outstanding career development opportunities we currently have the following vacancies within Autism Services:

 

Support Workers

Carrigtwohill and Mogelly - Co. Cork

 

Greenville House and Crobally, located on picturesque grounds in Carrigtwohill and Mogelly Co. Cork are a Residential/ Respite service for adults with Autism. The services are staffed 24 hours per day and home to 16 service users and also provide respite for adults with autism.  The service provides person centred support and skill development programs to adults with Autism throughout Cork. We strive to provide a person centred service, and work in partnership with service users, their families and stakeholders to support the individual in a way that meets their needs. We aim to enhance each individual’s quality of life by supporting them to build and develop a range of skills. This can range widely but can include skills such as daily living skills, social skills, and safety skills. The team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver the person centred support and we have a focus on implementing positive behaviour support. Our mission is to ensure that those availing of our services have a quality of life that we all aspire to. We aim to develop the potential of each client, by treating each person as a unique and respected individual having equal rights and entitlements as the rest of society.

Support Worker - Full Time (Waitlist)

€26,590-36,680 per annum*

 

Support Worker - Relief

€15.75 per hour

 

*Salary information is based on working 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. Where the role requires sleep-ins a minimum additional payment of €78.40 per night applies.
