As a Supply Chain project planner / Industrialization planner, you will manage and execute process (improvement) projects in order to achieve the technical, commercial and quality targets in line with the Melexis supply chain policies and methodologies. You will also define and manage standardization and continuous improvement programs for assigned processes throughout Melexis. Moreover, you will plan and lead the supply chain industrialization phase of a Melexis product with new process and/or product flow. And you will define and implement the needed internal supply chain standards, until reaching an acceptable production level as early as possible internally and externally, together with Melexis’ different stakeholders. More specifically, you will:

  • Ensure that all your projects are producing the expected outputs within the parameters agreed to deliver the required services within the given budget, at the highest quality standards and on time. Initiate corrective actions and lessons learnt in order to stay within the agreement using Melexis core project or CPMO methodology.
  • Lead supply chain industrialization and standardization projects and determine the new process flow for internal – external processes (with suppliers/ customers) through the established communication channels such as sales, customer relations, master schedulers, planners/buyers until Service Level Agreements and business rules are reached, respecting the logistic product management rules.
  • Ensure that the correct tools (including analytics and reports) are set up in alignment with Finance & Controlling in order to plan the new product project in the most efficient way.

Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in economics, business administration, logistics or engineering
  • You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning or scheduling in an international environment
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Fluency in any other major European language is a strong asset.
  • You are eager to learn and work in operations and supply chain planning.
  • You are willing to further gain insight in the Melexis technology and environment.
  • Basics of Supply Chain Management Certification (eg. APICS) is an asset.
