Jan De Nul Group offers specialised services for the installation of subsea structures for the oil, gas and renewable energy markets. Seabed preparation, dredging of trenches, as well as their stabilisation and ballasting, belong to the offshore services. Whether it concerns subsea pipelines, cables, umbilicals, foundations, platforms or even integral wind farms : everything is always tailored to the needs of the client and on an EPC-basis if required. As a superintendent you will be responsible for the execution of dredging work as per specifications and method statements. You organize the work, so everything is carried out to the required standards of safety and quality with a minimum of risk to persons and equipment.

You are responsible for the most cost-effective method of execution and monitors daily the actual versus estimated output.

You supervise the Captain on all operational planning and execution of dredging works, and seeks together with Captain, Technical Superintendent and Production Department for the most productive way of dredging, i.e. the right choice of cutter, suction heads, impellers, number of pumps, choice of dredging cycle, etc

Profile:

You have a Master in Civil Engineering (Structures, Geotechnics).

You work very meticulous and systematically. You are a team player and a good communicator

Good command of English is essential

Training provided at the office in Belgium

You will be working on our projects worldwide on a schedule of 2 months onshore / 1 month holiday.
