We are a team of five employees, two student assistants and one manager. We work across three Business Units for which we offer HR and operations services for our Danish seafarers (e.g.recruitment, retention, welfare, documentation and administration). We also provide some services for our non-Danish seafarers on board Danish-flagged vessels. We interact with offices around the word as well as with departments within Maersk Line’s global headquarters. This is an opportunity to work with skilled HR professionals in Marine HR and

The position, which is situated at Headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, will give you broad exposure to our global manning and crewing processes. The team is part of the global function Marine HR, part of Maersk Line Operations, Ship Management, which is an umbrella for all ship management activities in Maersk Line and Safmarine. Our vision is to provide Maersk Line and Safmarine with the most reliable, sustainable and cost effective fleet of the industry, and secure the most efficient ship management for our own fleet.
•Administrative HR support to the team.
•Issuing of employment contracts and payroll templates.
•Issuing of letter templates for visa applications etc.
•Monitor successful induction of new employees.
•POC for familiarization sailing on board the Danish flagged container vessels in Maersk Line.
•Update of personnel systems.
•Ad hoc Marine HR projects.
Who we are looking for
You are studying last year on your Bachelor’s degree or first year Master’s degree. It is important that you are responsible, reliable, and empathic. You take a structured approach to your work and you thrive in a fast paced environment. You are open to change and you enjoy providing service to a broad range of stakeholders. Preferably you have relevant HR experience from a similar position.
