About the company         

Loe Betongelementer as projects, produces, delivers and installs complete precast concrete and steel structures to residential, industrial, business and office buildings and also bridges. The factory is located about 60 km west of Oslo in Norway. Today we have about 160 employees. The annual trade is approximately 60 million Euros.

Information about the position

We are looking for a person to do technical engineering and structural design of buildings. We use programs such as Tekla Structures to model 3D structures and for drawings and ROBOT or ETABS to perform global analyses and design elements and also other small programs to design individual elements. If you are familiar with global analyses of structures such as earthquake analyses it would be an advantage.

Position demands

The applicant must have good knowledge in concrete and steel design, good grades from the university, and some years of experience from a design office. Some experiences in project management are also an advantage.

You have to be positive and fit into a multinational community and have good communication skills. Since the job position is permanent, the candidates who want to move to Norway are encouraged.

Language skills required: good English skills, or a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish or Danish)

Work Place:                              Steinberg – Norway (approximately 60 km west of Oslo)

Wages                                       Gross income; NOK 420 000 – about EUR 60 000

Gross income on a yearly basis is depending on experience and qualifications. The tax rate in Norway is about 35 %. Net cash payment is around NOK 22 750 monthly depending on individual tax rate and family situation.
