SOUS CHEF TO OUR GRAND KITCHEN

At the Grand we are fortunate to be located in the heart of a fertile region, with easy access to firstclass raw materials. Visiting the Grand Dining Room is to encounter our local culinary culture. The food we serve is our chefs’ personal interpretation of Nordic cuisine, with definite Scanian finesse – rustic yet elegant. In our kitchen the raw materials do the talking, so the menus vary according to the seasons. Respect for the origins – the soil and the animals – is at the heart of our philosophy and well rooted in our daily work. Most of our suppliers are located within the borders of our province – Skåne. Wines, of course, have a natural place in the Dining Room, and our sommeliers have intimate knowledge of our reputed wine cellar, where classic Grand Cru wines from France’s most famous wineries lie alongside the finest natural wines. Food and wine are meant to harmonise and we are happy to suggest wines according to menu and vice versa. We can also recommend one of our nonalcoholic wines as a perfect match for your meal. Our classic Dining Room is the backdrop for memorable meals that have been created with complete commitment to guest enjoyment. We look forward to welcoming you! About you: In our team of 22 motivated chefs we are looking for a souschef with strong leadership skills. To excel in the role you are fantastic at organizing and planning ahead. You have several years of experience from fine dining restaurants and you are comfortable with what it takes to lead a team towards success. Every time. Your personality will play an important role in this recruitment process. We believe that you are humble towards the strong traditions in the restaurant, yet always eager to develop, refine and create. About the position: Type of employment: Full time (100%). Working hours: As stated in the collective agreement based on Swedish Labor Law. Timeline: As soon as possible. Selections and interviews will be conducted continually.
