Salary: €15-17 per hour + up to 10% bonus.

Eldon's Hotel and Restaurant is a 12 bed 3* Hotel set in the picturesque village of Roundstone, Connemara in Co.Galway on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Our restaurant serves a variety of dishes with a particular emphasis on fresh, local seafood dishes.

We are searching for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our kitchen team to work for the busy summer season.


  • Determined, hardworking, motivated and creative.
  • Ability to manage kitchen.
  • 5+ years experience working in a hotel/bar/restaurant kitchen.
  • Fair level of english.
  • Ability to work well with a team.
  • Previous experience of seafood and fish dishes an advantage but not essential.

The successful applicant will be working and assisting the head chef. Depending on the attitude of the candidate they will have the opportunity to have more responsibility in the whole food production process through creating their own signature dishes. We place a very strong emphasis on learning and development and want to give the applicants more responsibility to allow them creative freedom.

Roundstone is a magical place in the summer and also a great opportunity to learn english.
